E-commerce engineer and indie builder. I make practical software and small systems that quietly do a lot — and I'm increasingly pointing AI at the boring parts.

01 — about
Building things that work, then making them better.
I run e-commerce for Thurrock Engineering Supplies, an industrial PPE and workwear distributor. That means the BigCommerce build, B2B pricing and accounts, and the integrations that keep the storefront talking to the ERP.
Outside the day job I ship my own products under Maxstar Digital, including a community review platform for alcohol-free drinks and the tech behind my wife's print business — which includes a Discord bot running scheduled AI agents on my own VPS.
I like finishing things, shipping small, and automating whatever I'm tired of doing by hand.
02 — work
Selected projects
Thurrock Engineering Supplies
Trade site for an industrial PPE and workwear distributor, run end to end: BigCommerce build, B2B pricing and accounts, ERP integrations, and a compliance document system so customers can pull their own declarations of conformity.
tesb2b.com → productHonestAF
A community review platform for alcohol-free drinks. Reviews are context-aware — sober, cutting down, driving, pregnant, curious — instead of one-size-fits-all.
honestaf.co → automation · AIMaple Co
The tech behind a personalised print business: a Python product generator and a Discord bot that runs scheduled AI agents for product ideas and captions.
mapleco.co.uk → studioMaxstar Digital
The umbrella for everything I ship independently. Less a company, more a working name for the stuff I build on my own.
