Hello, universe
The old version of this site was a tiny arcade cabinet with a playable Pac-Man. I loved it, but it was a very elaborate way of saying almost nothing about me.
So I've swapped the cabinet for a galaxy. There are planets, a spiral galaxy, comets, and a starfield that drifts with your mouse and your scrolling. It is wildly more JavaScript than a personal site needs, which is exactly the point.
What's here
- An about section: who I am and what I work on
- My projects, orbiting a small sun
- This blog, for notes on building things
Things to try
- Move your mouse and watch the sky shift
- Hover the planets in the projects section
- Scroll slowly and watch the parallax
- Use the engage hyperspace link in the footer
If you know the Konami code, you already know what to do.
How the blog works
Posts are plain Markdown files with a bit of front matter. There's no database and no CMS:
